Jakarta, July 17, 2024 - (Bakamla RI/Indonesia Coast Guard 2024) - The Chief of Indonesian Coast Guard Admiral TNI Dr. Irvansyah, S.H., M.Tr., Opsla, represented by the Director of Law of Indonesian Coast Guard Admiral Bakamla Priyambodo, S.H., attended the invitation to the Coordination Meeting of Law Enforcement Synergy in the Maritime Sector and the Signing of Integrity Pact. The event was opened by the Intelligence Assistant of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office Asep Sontani, S.H., C.N., at the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office Hall, on Wednesday (17/7/2024).

This activity aims to strengthen synergy and collaboration between law enforcement agencies in the maritime sector, ensure mutual commitment in maintaining integrity, order and compliance at every step of law enforcement, and increase state revenue from the Maritime sector.

The first presentation was given by the Chief Prosecutor of DKI Jakarta, Dr. Rudi Margono, S.H., M.Hum., with the title Strategic Role of the Indonesian Attorney in the Maritime Sector. On this occasion, Laksma Bakamla Priyambodo, S.H., also gave a presentation on the main tasks, functions, and authority of Bakamla RI in law enforcement as stated in Law 32 of 2014 concerning Maritime Affairs and PP No. 13 of 2022.

The event was attended by resource persons from relevant Maritime Ministries/Institutions, namely, Chief Prosecutor of DKI Jakarta Dr. Rudi Margono, S.H., M.Hum., Head of Class I Tanjung Priok Sea and Coast Guard Base Dr. Triono, S.Pel., M.M., Head of Class I Tanjung Priok Navigation District Dr. Capt. Mugen S. Sartoto, M.Sc, Commander of Lantamal III Jakarta Patrol Unit Lieutenant Colonel (P) Yovan Ardhianto Yusuf, S.E., M.Tr. Opsla.

The activity was closed with the signing of the Integrity Pact (PI) as a form of joint commitment in maintaining Law Enforcement in the Maritime Sector. (Bakamla RI Public Relations)
